Kia ora koutou katoa / Hi everyone,

I’m a clinical psychologist and writer from Wellington, New Zealand (Aotearoa). Aka a Kiwi from the land of 5 million people, 26 million sheep and wickedly beautiful scenery.

I run a private psychology practice offering performance coaching and therapy, do some speaking, write books and a blog, have a regular "life" column for NZ's leading media organisation (Stuff) and chip in with other media bits and pieces.

On Medium I write about life and love — how to stand strong and navigate this chaotic world. It’s do-it-yourself psychology tips and tools you can use in your own lives. Thanks for reading my stories/being on my team and for ALL the feedback and comments — even the critical stuff helps. Sort of!

My publication here on Medium is On the Couch — practical psychology for everyday life —we love new talent and you’re welcome to submit (here are the guidelines). Please follow the guidelines - it's your best (and only) chance of being published :)

If you enjoy my work, please feel free to join my personal my email list here to receive a regular dose of practical psychology tips and tools for everyday life. And below are my books and links to where you can find them.

Happy reading and writing!
